Terms of service.

These terms are the agreement between you and IJSEdge. They're short, written in plain language, and we'll tell you when they change.

1. What IJSEdge does

IJSEdge ingests publicly-available U.S. Figure Skating competition results and turns them into element-by-element analytics. We provide tools for skaters, parents, and coaches to read those results more easily. We are not affiliated with U.S. Figure Skating.

2. Your account

You may create an account using email + password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. If you let someone else use your account, you're responsible for what they do with it.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an IJSEdge account. If you're a parent managing analytics for a child under 13, the account must be in your name.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app or by emailing us. See our privacy policy for what happens when you delete.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. The full feature list per plan is on the pricing page. As of the date at the top of these terms the plans are:

• Skater — $4.99 per month or $39 per year. Analytics for one skater claim.
• Family — $8.99 per month or $79 per year. Analytics for up to four skater claims in one household.

All subscriptions are billed in U.S. dollars. Prices may change; we'll notify subscribers of any change before it takes effect, and the new price only applies to renewals after the notice.

Auto-renewal (Apple App Store)

When you buy a subscription inside the IJSEdge iOS app, the following terms apply in addition to Apple's standard subscription rules:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected (listed above).
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Auto-renewal (web / Stripe)

Subscriptions purchased on the web are billed through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in your account; access to paid features continues through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Trials and refunds

Trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the stated price when the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. App Store purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy and are handled by Apple, not by IJSEdge. For Stripe purchases, if your card is charged in error, email us and we'll make it right.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape or bulk-download data from IJSEdge.
• Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to access systems, data, or accounts you're not authorized to access.
• Misrepresent your relationship to a skater (for example, claiming a coach role you don't hold). Two-party verification exists for this reason.
• Use the service to harass, dox, or otherwise harm any skater, parent, coach, or other user.
• Resell IJSEdge analytics or paid features to people who don't have their own account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Skating data — who owns what

The IJS protocol data we ingest is published by U.S. Figure Skating. We don't claim ownership of it; we just index and interpret it.

Settings and content you create inside IJSEdge — your claims, favorites, privacy preferences, notification preferences — belong to you. When you delete your account, all of it goes with you.

The IJSEdge software, brand, and analytics methodology belong to us.

6. No warranty on analytics accuracy

IJSEdge analytics are computed from public protocol data and are intended to be a conversation-starter — not a coaching decision tool, not a competition result, not a judgment of a skater's ability. Source protocols sometimes contain errors or are scraped imperfectly. We do our best, but the service is provided "as is" without warranty.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, IJSEdge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

You can stop using IJSEdge at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or stop offering the service entirely, with reasonable notice.

9. Apple App Store — additional terms for the iOS app

The following terms apply if you obtained the IJSEdge iOS app from the Apple App Store. They're required by Apple and we include them so the agreement is complete.

• These terms are an agreement between you and IJSEdge only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the IJSEdge app or its content.
• IJSEdge, not Apple, is solely responsible for the iOS app and the content available within it, including maintenance and support, any warranty claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements, and any product-liability or third-party (including intellectual-property) claims arising from your use of the app.
• Your license to use the iOS app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (the “Usage Rules”), except that the app may also be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes go to the state and federal courts in Hillsborough County, Florida.

11. Changes

When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and — for material changes — surface a notice in the app and email anyone with an active account. Continued use of IJSEdge after a change means you've accepted the updated terms.
