Where does the data come from?

From the public IJS protocols U.S. Figure Skating already publishes — the same PDFs and live result pages your phone refreshes during a competition. IJSEdge ingests them, structures them, and makes them queryable. Nothing here is private or behind a wall.

How accurate is the “hidden gains” analysis?

It's not a prediction — it's an arithmetic. We compute what each element earned you and what the same element at field-median GOE would have earned. The number you see is the literal sum of those differences. Confidence varies with sample size, and we surface it on every suggestion (high · medium · speculative).

Does it work for international comps?

U.S. only at launch — sectionals, regionals, championships, and major summer comps. International events (Skate America, Grand Prix, Worlds) are on the roadmap once we have permission to mirror the ISU feeds.

My competition isn't indexed. Can I add it?

Yes. Paste the results URL into the submit box on the dashboard and we'll queue it. First scrape takes 2–4 minutes; if the source uses an unusual layout we'll flag it for manual review (it happens about 1 in 30).

Is there an iOS app?

Yes. IJSEdge is live on the iOS App Store — download it for iPhone & iPad. The web app is still fully featured and mobile-friendly, so you can also use IJSEdge from any phone browser without an install.

What about privacy for minors?

All published results are public record under USFS — IJSEdge doesn't add anything beyond what's already on the federation's results pages. Tracked-skater lists are private to your account; nothing about who you follow is ever shown to anyone else.
